This double-set is a selection of uncomped tracks of the 33 volume series “Mi collecciòn de Discos” (done by Lomas) my friend José from http://tommentonenlacuadra.blogspot.com.es/ sent me. Skipping the MoR tunes and most of the many cover versions, I picked the more garagey sounds adding a few more tracks from my archive, and I think the harvest is simply too tasty to be forgotten (i.e the “Grabaciones olvidadas" title). I guess this might well be the definite collection of Spanish 60s Beat Nuggets and I'm afraid it will be hard to dig up more uncomped treasures from Spain although José and Miguel from http://66spanishgarage.blogspot.it/ and also Miguel Witris from http://garagelatino.blogspot.it/ (I wonder why most 60s Garage collectors are named Mike?) are doing their best.
