I’m not sure if an 8(?) yo boy named Michel V, and a turkish YeYe Yeti can be part of the French Freakbeat scene, but, on the other hand, we’re in the land of unhinged Poetry, wild bohemian crayzness, Surrealism and Dada. So let’s welcome them all in the provocative but elegant night club opend by Jacques Dutronc and his his friens including some old chansonniers. My only regret is is I don’t understand every line of the freaky beatsongs. I just get it’s about any issue trespassing bounderies widely and packing iin words about religion, society, philosophy, Eunuques;the H bomb, Asterix, LSD, horses and Jou-Jou Gods, you name it (“My belt, Daddy / I’m so afraid Mama”). Et allors? Je chante donc je suis! t Oilà!
